This study aims to explore the relationship between self-efficacy and innovative workplace behavior, adopting social cognitive theory as theoretical framework. A descriptive survey research design was adopted in the study in which participants were 126 employees of NNPC Retail Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. Findings obtained from linear regression analysis indicated that self-efficacy was positive and significantly related to innovative workplace behavior (β = +0.3486, p<0.05). It was recommended that the management of NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) should train employees on developing high level of self-efficacy, since this will enhance employees’ innovative workplace behavior.
