Author(s):

Janhavi Tripathi & Shanti Suman

Abstract:

This study aims to explore the intricate dynamics between leadership styles and their influence on organizational outcomes, particularly job satisfaction, organisational commitment, and job performance. The study examines various leadership styles, encompassing both universally recognized approaches- such as democratic leadership- and culture- specific frameworks, including paternalistic leadership. These leadership styles play a crucial role in shaping organizational culture and influencing employee attitudes. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of moderating factors, such as employee experience, which may impact the relationship between leadership styles and employee attitudes. The study aims to address gaps in existing literature by offering a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between leadership styles and job outcomes. The study's insights provide practical recommendations for fostering leadership approaches that align with organizational goals and enhance overall employee well-being and performance.
