The Current research investigates the determinants of consumer adoption of mobile wallet gateways for cashless transactions in Coimbatore City. As the world is moving towards digital payments, mobile wallets have become increasingly popular, but the rate of their adoption differs across various consumer segments. The study investigates important determinants like convenience, security issues, and perceived value. Both primary and secondary data are used to evaluate consumer behaviour and tastes. The research also examines the influence of demographic variables on adoption patterns. The results seek to offer insights for policymakers and companies to encourage the use of mobile wallets. The research adds to the knowledge of the local market forces in Coimbatore. Finally, it aims to determine ways of improving the use of mobile wallets in urban areas
