The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the intricate workings of the real estate industry. The Research was undertaken to gain first-hand exposure to the dynamics of real estate transactions, client management, and the impact of regulatory frameworks such as the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). The Significance of this research was instrumental in shaping the direction of the research, which focuses on understanding the role of brokers and channel partners in the real estate sector, as well as the influence of RERA on consumer behavior. The research was built to seek to quantify and analyze the perceptions, experiences, and trust levels of consumers regarding brokers and channel partners. The survey targeted residents of Mumbai, Navi, Mumbai, and Thane to understand how these intermediaries influence buying decisions and how RERA has impacted their role. The majority of survey respondents indicated that the information provided by brokers played a crucial role in their purchasing decisions. However, the research also revealed a spectrum of trust levels, with most respondents expressing moderate trust in brokers, while a smaller proportion expressed either high or low levels of trust. This variation in trust highlights the need for brokers to demonstrate transparency and reliability in their interactions with clients. Another important aspect of the research was the exploration of RERA's impact on the real estate market. The survey findings reinforced this, showing that a majority of respondents are aware of RERA and view it positively, particularly in terms of enhancing transparency and consumer protection.
