This paper is a practical exploration into the structure and dynamics of apple marketing in Himachal Pradesh, with a focus on the Parala Sanj Apple Marketing Yard in Theog. The visit aimed to bridge the theoretical knowledge of commerce students with real-world agricultural marketing practices. The research highlights grading, packaging, auction processes, transportation, the role of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC), and challenges such as cold storage limitations and middlemen dependency. Recommendations are provided for improving the efficiency and fairness of the marketing system.
